Six week old kittens

Our babies are growing. I should say "your babies". The kittens had a great sixth week. All are potty trained, with no accidents at all. Very smart little kitties. They are all eating well - baby cat food - and drinking lots of water. The moms are still nursing a bit. More for comfort at this point than nourishment. We have joined the two play pens to make one large one (as you will see in the photos ahead). The kittens love to be able to run, jump, and climb. I take a few out at a time to run around our house. They do need to get used to this as well.
I will be contacting everyone in the next days, scheduling adoption days. The first kittens leave on August 29th. Look for my email pertaining to this. You should all schedule your kitten's first vet appointment within three days of your kitten's adoption day, as per our contract. Your kitten will only need a "well baby visit" - no shots, just a checkup. The kittens will all see our vet, Dr. Miller of Miller's Animal hospital in Matthews on Friday, August 29th. If anyone has any questions they would like to discuss, please feel free to give me a call.
